Maxi 1050Performance cruiser comparison test - The moment of truth

Boats around ten metres in length offer space for the family and are affordable for many. In the YACHT comparison: the current models

The Maxi 1050 is the entry into the model range of the Swedish shipyard, which is attempting a new start in the sailing sector. It combines a contemporary, elegant design with very good boatbuilding quality, especially for a boat from series production. The sailing characteristics leave little to be desired, plenty of storage space below deck has been emphasised and the arrangement and design of the fittings reveal a love of detail. The relatively narrow width and the interior layout make the saloon feel somewhat cramped. Unfortunately, the quality has its price, but also guarantees high value retention. A ship for connoisseurs.
